The Essence Toner is Pyunkang Yul's foundational product, a concentrated astragalus root extract toner with an essence-like texture that delivers hydration as the first step of the routine. Astragalus root extract makes up 91.3% of the formula, with just a handful of supporting ingredients like glycerin and allantoin rounding it out.
The formula is intentionally minimal, free from alcohol and fragrance, which is why it's such a common starting point for sensitive skin routines and for anyone rebuilding a compromised barrier.
Apply to cleansed skin using hands or a cotton pad. Pat gently until absorbed. Layer additional applications for more hydration when needed.
