This oil cleanser is the first step in a double cleanse, built to melt away makeup, SPF, and the day's buildup of sebum before it settles into pores. The base blends lightweight plant oils, including sunflower, jojoba, olive, and grape seed, with heartleaf (Houttuynia cordata) extract, which calms and helps keep congestion prone skin from feeling reactive after cleansing.
On contact with water it turns into a milky emulsion and rinses away without an oily film, so skin feels clean rather than stripped. It's a good fit for anyone who wears sunscreen or makeup daily and needs a cleanser that can actually dissolve it, especially if breakouts or clogged pores are a concern.
Massage into dry skin to dissolve makeup and impurities, add a little water to emulsify, then rinse. Follow with a water based cleanser for a full double cleanse.
