This cleansing oil is built around a blend of plant based oils, roughly 90 percent of the formula, together with salicylic acid (BHA) to dissolve blackheads, sebum buildup and stubborn makeup in one first cleanse step. Niacinamide and guaiazulene are also included to calm congested looking pores while the oil gets to work.
Where a typical cleansing oil only lifts away surface dirt and makeup, the BHA here reaches further into the pore to help loosen the buildup that leads to blackheads. It emulsifies fully with water and rinses clean without any greasy residue, making it an easy first step for anyone dealing with congestion or enlarged pores.
Massage onto dry skin, focusing on congested areas. Add a little water to emulsify until milky, then rinse thoroughly and follow with a water based cleanser.
